Arbor Coda 2025
The Coda is a highly versatile, big mountain twin, with a shape, flex, and build that supports speed, big landings, and deeper snow. This quiver cornerstone features Arbor's 'Rise Above Plastic RAP' topsheet - a sustainably sourced powerply, with zero plastic. The new technology delivers a highly-responsive ride in a lighter, more responsible way. The System Camber design offers a poppy ride with crisp, fully engaged performance.
Shape: Camber
Flex: 7/10
Base: Sintered
Details:
- All Mountain
- The Camber System from Arbor is a parabolic take on positive camber that progressively reduces the amount of camber towards the tip and tail. This ensures your contact points don't dig too hard into the snow, preventing edge catch, making it easier to turn and spin, and giving you a poppy ride with fully engaged performance.
- A mid-stiff flex that is perfect for hard charging riders that need to get the most from their boards, but still like it to have a bit of play.
- This board is a twin but has a directional shaped nose and tail, so it can ride switch with no problems but will provide better float going forwards.
- Grip Tech is a combination of three separate sidecut radii in the nose, tail, and centre of the board, effectively giving the board an additional two contact points. This provides extra grip and control in all conditions, and also makes turning smoother, easier, and less catchy, without losing performance.
- Uprise Fenders - Due to the addition of Grip Tech, it's possible to slightly lift the outside contact points, reducing catch and improving tracking and turn initiation.
- The most progressive core from Arbor, the Double Barrel II Core is made from Poplar reinforced with two Bamboo struts running down the edges of the board for added torsional response and stability.
- A Triax and Biax layup that provides superior versatility over standard Triax or Biax layups.
- Sintered means fast and tough base material that is quick in all snow conditions.
- Hand Dyed Ash Powerply - This creates the style Arbor is known for, but isn't just for looks. Power Ply is a sustainably sourced layer of wood or bamboo that acts like an added layer of fibreglass due to a labor intensive process that results in increased performance, finish quality, board life, and less reliance on man made materials.
- R.A.P. Topless Technology - Built in a way that eliminates the need for a Bio-Plastic Topsheet, which makes it a lighter, more eco-friendly ride.
- 360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls - These 360° sidewalls eliminate the need for tip fill, enhancing durability and improving board life.
- Recycled Steel Edges - These highly durable recycled steel edges promote sustainability without sacrificing quality.
- Entropy Bio-Resin - This board is made with Entropy Bio-Resin, which is a replacement for traditional petroleum-based resin that doesn't affect performance. The ingredients that go into Entropy Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and reduces the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% (when compared to a petroleum-based equivalent).
- Wend Natural Wax - This board is waxed with Wend Natural Wax and is ready to ride straight out of the shop.
- Factory Tuned - This snowboard is factory de-tuned at the tip and tail, so you can go riding straight away.
- Recycled ABS - ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Arbor improve the sustainability of this snowboard by using recycled plastic.

Burton Cartographer 2024
The 2024 Burton Cartographer is a big mountain freeride board at heart without the high-end price tag. This new addition to the Burton range blends stability and float from its mid-flexing core and directional, tapered camber shape, giving you both stability and edge control when carving but float in powder when it is needed. If you are looking for your first big mountain board that can handle any condition, any day, no matter how deep the snow, the Cartographer will help you map out the best runs on the mountain with ease.
Bend: Camber
Flex: 5.5/10
Base: Sintered (for going fast)
Details:
- The original, tried and true camber type, and the advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision. Traditional camber is the most aggressive camber type, offering unmatched power, response, and edge control. Directional Camber puts rocker in the nose of the board, adding extra float in powder while retaining the response and stability of traditional camber.
- This board is constructed differently from nose to tail, putting more pop in the tail and strengthening the nose, allowing you to easily maintain control and charge through a variety of snow conditions.
- This board has a shape designed specifically for freeriding, featuring a longer and wider nose and a shorter, 5mm tapered tail which combine to give you effortless float in powder and better performance riding forwards.
- Light and loaded with Pop, this core uses dual-species wood in dual density vertical laminations to reduce weight and stay strong.
- The wood grain of the core is positioned along the heel and toe edge in two unbroken zones perpendicular to the rest of the core, which gives consistent edge hold and strength.
- Triaxial fibreglass creates a versatile flex and consistent response for performance across all types of snowboarding.
- Squeezebox consists of thicker, more powerful sections combined with thinner, more flexible sections profiled throughout the core. This enhances energy transfer and makes the board snappier and more stable.
- The base is made from a durable and highly porous base material that provides added strength and wax absorption for long lasting glide.
- The Burton Channel system forgoes your traditional 4-screw mounting system and introduces a channel for your front and rear inserts. This allows you to fine-tune your stance width, and gives you more freedom in your stance location. The Channel is compatible with most major binding brands, but works best with Burton EST bindings.
- Burton is able to maximise pop and performance by overbuilding their boards in the factory, and then using machinery to break it down for you. This allows your board to ride the same from day one, to day 100, season after season.
- A setback camber and stance-centred sidecut makes this board feel like a twin when riding flat based, but still has the tight turns and effortless float you'd expect from a directional board.
- The tip and tail of this board taper out at the points, reducing swing weight and promoting mobility.
- Super Sap is a bio-based resin that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional petroleum-based epoxies.
